The Society of Women Engineers is a non-profit educational and service organization founded in 1950. This organization has given women engineers a unique place and voice within the engineering industry. SWE is centered around a passion for our members' success and continues to evolve with the challenges and opportunities reflected in today's exciting engineering and technology specialties.
SWE is the driving force that establishes careers for women through development programs, networking, scholarships, outreach, fellowships, and much more!

2nd Place for the "Outstanding Collegiate Section" Award
October 26th, 2014
We received the 2nd place of the "Outstanding Collegiate Section Award" during our previous National Conference thanks to all what we have accomplished during the past years. For this award, we competed with around 400 sections nationwide. This is definitely a great accomplishment for our section. Lets keep it up!
Funding from the ECSSE & ME Departments
January 20th, 2015
We recently received financial support from the Electrical, Computer, Software, and Systems Engineering Department and from the Mechanical Engineering Department as well. The funding received will be used to cover all the expenses from our National Conference. We really appreciate their help and support to our organization!

Come help us out at the Activities Fair and encourage other students to join our organization! The event starts at 9:00am, but since we are a Gold Wing Status organization, we have the privilege of choosing a table before the rest. So, set up for SWE will be at 8:15am.

Leadership Conference
IC Center, ERAU. Saturday, January 31st, 2015
8:30am - 4:30pm


The costs of this conference is $10 and it includes continental breakfast and lunch. SWE will be paying half of the registration fee so don't miss the opportunity to attend this event. The conference will feature a variety of educational sessions on different topics of leadership. It will also feature keynote speaker, Joshua Fredenburg. Joshua's keynote presentation not only talks about the importance of great leadership in today’s society, but he provides emerging and seasoned leaders with a set of five important questions that will enable them to discover the leader from within, make a positive impact in their community, nation, and world, and move closer towards obtaining maximum personal, career, and leadership success in the 21st Century.
